INDIVIDUAL WORK

So many of us have been conditioned within the self-improvement paradigm. This comes with a technological attunement to ourselves and to the world around us, which sees people as machines that are prone to break downs, and almost always are in need of some sort of upgrade.

In these times of accelerating technology and AI, we are coming face-to-face with the limitations of this dominant way of seeing. It alone cannot take us where we need to go in this stage of individual and collective life. It excludes too much of what makes life fulfilling, deeply human, and mysterious. It makes life far too small.

This depth-oriented work prioritizes a poetic attunement to our lives, and builds the necessary bridges between inner work and contribution in the world. By taking the time to get into deep contact with ourselves, we can amplify and sustain the impact we have in the world—along with our enjoyment of it.

DEPTH THERAPY

The word therapy comes to us from the greek word, therapeia. For the Greeks this word meant “service, attending to, healing.”

Therapy is a relationship formed in service of caring for soul. This means attending to the deeper currents that run through our lives and express themselves in dreams, creative inspirations, as well as in repetitive patterns of behavior, disruption, illness, burnout, anxiety, and other pathologies.

WHO THIS IS FOR

  • People navigating mid-life or quarter-life transitions

  • Individuals struggling with chronic illness, depression, or a recent diagnosis

  • Leaders and parents who feel pulled in a million directions and struggle with burnout or anxiety

  • Those who are looking to spark their creativity and live more aligned with their deepest values

COACHING

Leadership, Vocational, and Emergent Coaching for Times of Change

Coaching is a collaborative partnership designed to bridge between depth and practicality. It supports clarity, alignment, and meaningful action in the world.

While therapy does focus more on mental health concerns and diagnoses, coaching is appropriate for people who feel psychologically stable and are looking for support in leadership development, improved decision making, navigating career transitions, and aligning work with a sense of meaning.

HOW THIS WORK IS STRUCTURED

  • Short-term engagements ( Three 60 min sessions) are good for those who want to try out coaching before committing to a longer engagement, or those at a particular crossroads who need time-sensitive guidance.

  • Long-term engagements (Four, Six and Twelve Month contracts) are designed for those who are ready to commit to sustained inner reflection in the service of deep, lasting change.

WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THERAPY AND COACHING?

This is a difficult question to answer precisely, as there is a lot of overlap between the philosophies and methods of depth therapy and integral unfoldment coaching. However, there are a couple important distinctions to keep in mind.

Firstly, coaching is not intended to address serious mental health concerns or trauma. Secondly, coaching can be done via short-term engagements, for example, to guide time-sensitive decision making with new perspective. Therapy requires a willingness to work together over longer periods of time. It likely wouldn't make sense to enter into therapy for 3 sessions, or even 3 months.

As a focal part of our initial conversations, we will determine the best container for your situation and goals.

Carried by the surprise
Of its own unfolding."
